The trouble with the Model 30 was the switch, but the brushes were in bad need of replacement. Was able to get all together today and it worked--for about 3 minutes. I think the lead wires to the switch shorted. No sparks, just stopped working. Thought I would take a look at the brushes and was mildly shocked. Will disassemble and trouble shoot sometime later.

Excellent brushes! The springs attach to the brushes which makes it very easy to remove the brush if needed. These are the best brushes I have found.
