This was one of the best experiences I've had with a repair service of any sort. From the outset, my inquiry was answered very quickly, in a friendly and professional manner. I was actually surprised at the speed of the repair itself, and the quality of the work is second to none. They handled my special requests with no problems at all. (I wanted to keep the original Bakelite finish, since my grandmother made every one of those scratches. I also wanted the brushes and capacitor replaced, without regard to actual need.) I don't anticipate needing any further work on this particular mixer, but I won't hesitate to send another one if the need arises, and I'll also heartily recommend this service to my friends. Good part was description was accurate and complete. Got what we ordered. Parts were somewhat used as expected. One of the beaters does not want to stay in mixmaster. Not sure if fault is the beater or the fault of the mixmaster.

These resistors are getting hard to find and you can only locate used if you're lucky. They are never pretty at about 60 years old but they work and I'm very happy.
